Species of terrestrial crustacean found throughout the Northern Reach. Due to the sensitive nature of their mucus membranes they spend large portions of their lifespan underground, tunneling out hives that they stabilize with a form of secreted bio-resin. While they can vary in size, many reports speak of them growing as long as 120cm and weighing well above 40kg. In many remote communities their shells are prized objects.
